The stock Futura rims just won't do. The original conversion used Radir Rims and these are available in two different car kits. The Futura kit seems to be a bit undersized. I have not done the calculations myself but I believe it to be approximately 1/28th. The following sets are all 1/25th so they will be a little large

MRC Muscle Car Hop-Up Set Cragar S/S 15 rims, Firestone Tires These look pretty good. The tires are a bit "square". These are what's on the primered example. |

Revell '64 Ford Fairlane Radir Rims, Dunlop Tires These would work in a pinch but they are wide in the rear and thin in the front. Since the wheel is in two pieces you could mix and match to get four wheel that are the same size. You will still need to find some suitable tires. |

AMT Fireball 500 Radir Rims, Goodyear Tires The best solution. All four are the same size and as a bonus the kit comes with a fire extinguisher that can be used to detail the interior! |
